Despite an environment where independent pharmacies were being swallowed up by the larger chains, Dom and Jeff defied the odds and opened Tuminaro Pharmacy in Spring, 2004. Particularly in a time when doctors have less time to consult and there is more (conflicting!) information from television commercials and the media, Dom and Jeff had faith that patients would seek out the personalized service their independent pharmacy provides. They are thankful for 12 great years in business and looking forward to many more!
Dominick Tuminaro RPh (Co-Owner)
Dominick graduated from Columbia University and is a second-generation pharmacist. He worked his way up from staff pharmacist at Hopewell Pharmacy to part owner. After selling the independent pharmacy and working as a chain pharmacist, Dom is relieved to be back as an owner of Tuminaro Pharmacy. Dom is a devoted husband, lives in Hopewell with his wife Ginny, father of 4, grandfather of 8, and an East Fishkill Rotarian for almost four decades. Anyone who knows Dom also knows he is an avid Yankee fan.
Jeffrey Papo RPh (Co-Owner)
Jeff met Dominick in 1995 when he did a summer internship at Hopewell Pharmacy while completing his pharmacy degree at Albany College of Pharmacy. After serving as district pharmacy supervisor for one of the large chains, Jeff gained confidence that together with the right partner, he could bring a viable neighborhood pharmacy back to Hopewell Junction. His goal was to make the pharmacy working environment similar to what his experience was at the Hopewell Pharmacy. He lives in Beekman with his wife, also a lifelong Dutchess County resident.

Laura Moody RPh (Staff Pharmacist)
Laura is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy and a long-time Hopewell resident. Having worked with Dominick, Nick and Jeff in the days of Hopewell Pharmacy, her return to the team in 2009 was like a homecoming. She lives in Hopewell with her husband Scott, and son’s dog Sammy.
Nick Tuminaro (Pharmacy Tech)
Nick has been involved in pharmacy since his early high school years and managing Hopewell Pharmacy in the 90s. At Tuminaro Pharmacy he owns and operates all the front end product lines and defines the motto Fast, Friendly Full Service Pharmacy. He lives in Saratoga with his wife Sue and newborn son Michael. Yes, he commutes about 2 hours each way four or more times a week. That is what we call dedication and energy.
Ask Nick about fishing, hunting, golfing, basketball, baseball or any sport and he will have a good story.
Cat Minunni (Registered Pharmacy Technician)
When not working, Cat loves going to the park with her dog Sophia, going to concerts, reading, and doing various arts and crafts.
Cat has been a life long resident of Wappingers Falls and has been working as a pharmacy technician since 2007. She became a Certified Pharmacy Technician in 2012. Starting with Tuminaro Pharmacy in early 2015 Cat has quickly become knowledgeable in preparation of compounded medications, inventory management, billing/rebilling/filling medications, and handles the management of the pharmacy robotic dispensing systems.
Linda Shoenfeld (Customer Service)
Linda joined the Tuminaro Pharmacy team back in 2005 after many years of working at an independent pharmacy in Pawling, NY. She lives locally with her husband.
